In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUND, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUND event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.TEDxUND strives to re-create the unique experience found at TED, where the world´s leaders, thinkers and doers congregate to share what they are most passionate about. At its core, the fundamental goal of TED and the University of Notre Dame is to foster and spur great ideas. We aim to provide a platform where the smartest thinkers, greatest visionaries and most fascinating teachers will be inspired and will have the opportunity to inspire others.

We hope diverse group of students, faculty, and alumni present at our conference and watching online will learn from one another, both as speakers and attendees, and will leave the conference driven to creatively improve our collective future.
