Highlighting the Hesburgh Library and Noah’s ark as icons for the preservation of knowledge and the diversity of life, Noye’s Fludde will create an immersive outdoor performance experience featuring music, lights, singing and drama. This will be a multi-disciplinary production, featuring the new Notre Dame Children’s Choir, as well as students and faculty from across campus. The Hesburgh Library will serve as a unique stage for the performance as the courtyard transforms into an ark, making use of the reflecting pool, plaza and Word of Life mural. Related library exhibits, digital tablet applications, and guest speakers will extend the reach of the program beyond the two night event.

Sponsored by the Hesburgh Libraries, Sacred Music Program at Notre Dame and made possible, in part, by the Lilly Foundation All are welcome and the event is free of charge.
