Alternative Forms of Expression: Cultivating Media-Rich Activities

Having students create a video, poster, or sound recording can be an appropriate alternative to written work and it helps develop media literacy. This session introduces the "Remix" website to help you start developing engaging media-rich assignments.

After successfully completing this workshop you will be able to:

• identify potential rich media assignments.
• design and evaluate such an assignment.
